Walking up the stairs to my classroom this morning, I thought "I'm having a cranky day." (already!)
Then I thought "Geez, I'm perpetually down lately, so if, at 7am, I can already identify this as a 'blue day' that's not a very good thing..."
I'm a doer. I want to be able to control what's going on with me. (That's part of what makes this IF stuff so hard.) I thought "What can I do to put myself in a better mood?"
So I'm here to ask my blog buddies: What do you do to cheer yourself up and help a bad mood improve? I need suggestions!

Dessert! And a giant latte!
I'm sorry you're feeling down, and I hope you find something to cheer you up. Hang in there!
Good question! I need all the help I can get too! I'm sorry you're so down...you're not alone in this.
I am also having a blue day. I try to do one little thing as a "treat." Today, I brought a diet green tea with citrus with my lunch. Yummy.
I would go to star bucks and get a ginger bread latte and listen to country music there and back...and I would sing really, really loud! That is what I would do if I was having a blue day!
Or I would come home and play with my puppies, I'm sure peanut would love that!
I get like that more often than not lately. Honestly, I try super hard to let it roll off my shoulders ... but usually I just think of upcoming holidays, trips, etc which can sometimes help with my mood. It's hard though! You're not alone!
I would have to say try doing something you really like doing ... I'm honestly at a loss right now because I am feeling pretty poo'ish today as well.
lately i've been trying to occupy myself crafting. creating things seems to help me keep my mind off the stuff that gets me down. other times, the best cure is a night out with my girlfriends, and still others, a night on the couch watching mindless tv,eating ice cream for dinner.
whatever it is you need right now, i hope you get it.
I'll second the crafting vote. Mindless teensy-tiny cross stitch does the trick for me. Or lace knitting. Something that takes up so much of my attention that I don't have any left to think about how cranky I am. Good luck, and hope tomorrow is less blue than today...
